Clothes upcycling: How does it all come together?
My creative people, hold onto your hats! Finally, I will share a bit of my creative process behind upcycling clothes from a basic one to something original! And how does this process look like? Well, it always depends on the piece of clothing I choose and from where I get my inspiration.

The muse for my current project is the forest, mushrooms if I have tobe exact.
The muse for my current project is the forest, mushrooms if I have to be exact. Duh! I have a whole book with this theme, no surprises there! And what outfit piece did I choose? Something very multifaceted and pretty: a pair of denim shorts. Something you can wear during summer on its own or inautumn andspringwith yoga pants or stockings.

So all that is left to do is write down this new project into my work notebook a and here I come!
The mushroom caps will be blue. There is Indigo Milkcap, but it isn't exactly a common color I would say. So all that is left to do is write down this new project into my work notebook a and here I come! Some embroidery left to do, a lot of crochet too. May the force be with me!

Crochet border, small emboidered details. Pretty cute, soft and trendy. Blue colours go together well, the white has contrast and beige is a great friend to all those shades.

Embroidery is maybe a bit wonky but hey, it is not a professional or machine production. It's handmade, and in my opinion an adorable attempt

I am quite happy about the crochet mushroom border. It took sometrail and error to figure out how to make it, but I succeeded. Hallelujah! Not a bad feeling to get it right!
And here it is. The first little blogpost about upcycling.
I
hope you like it!
Have yourself a starry day!
